At last a book that helps you actually finish a project!

Review

Everybody working with Blender for sometime will master the basic skills to make a simple animation. But all too often these first steps will never transcend the bouncing ball or testrun-with-simulated water. If you want to achieve more this book will certainly help. The author explains very well that even a short animation is more than modelling some character and bouncing it aroud: It starts with an idea and a storyboard and of course you need to model and rig your character (there's plenty of information about that in the book too) but how will you animate it and how will you edit the final movie or add sound? All can be done in Blender and this book explains this in a very accessible manner and even gives you tips about asset- and workflowmanagement. This is not for the Blender newbie but nevertheless probably the best Blender book available to day.
