A Blender Bookreview

Buying books is expensive so it is important to buy the one(s) that suit your needs. In order to help you choose I compiled this comparison. I try to be as objective as possible but it still reflects my opinion only, so if you hesitate, please check with someone else as well!

This comparison looks at four things:

Coverage
To which extend is a certain topic presented, e.g. does it show many possibilities or only a few and does it give many examples or just one?
Depth
To which extend are underlying principles illustrated and how well are dependencies presented, e.g. game engine and bullet physics or modeling and texturing?
Overall value
There is more to a book than coverage and depth, like how well the author writes and whether you get value for money.
Specific subject
The number of pages devoted to a specific subject. Examples and explanations are important here, merely mentioning is not enough.
Coverage and depth each have their own row, overall value is reflected in the stars above the Amazon link. If you click on the stars you can read a short review instead of going to the Amazon site.
