A small collection of machines modeled in Blender
Machines are simpler than people to get right, at least that's what you think in de beginning. Getting all the details in just the right places is an enormous amount of work though. On these pages you will discover some of my efforts.
Victorian grass reaper
Don't think that because this machine is horse driven it is simple: a grass reaper is a complex machine when you take a close look: it consists of many components, some of which were even made in series as early as the 1880's. The height of the tines that reap the grass are adjustable in height and the wheels operate on ball bearings.
